Sequencing DNA

Using the dideoxy method of DNA sequencing, a single-stranded recombinant vector of DNA is synthesized. To determine the order of nucleotides in the newly made strand, select a nucleotide base, one at a time, and move it to the correct location in the gel.

Recombinant DNA

A single stranded DNA circle contains a nucleotide sequence, and three short, single-stranded DNA molecules that serve as primers. The primers clones with nucleotides and it is labeled as annealing site on the DNA circle. The sequence of recombinant DNA from left to right from the primer is A C T T G A C G C G A A T G. The nucleotides T and C are short and the nucleotides G and A are long.
